I Made It! Lantern making sessions now avaliable to book

In preparation of the spectacular 2022  Northern Lights - Tameside's Christmas Celebration, create your own lantern to parade through the streets of Ashton-under-Lyne on Saturday 19th November 2022.

Attend a free lantern-making workshop this November where you can learn traditional lantern making techniques to create a beautiful willow lantern. No experience is necessary at all, and the workshops are suitable for all ages! The workshops will all take place in Ashton town centre and are suitable for individuals and groups of up to five people. Groups can choose to make a lantern per person or to make a lantern(s) as a group.
