Hyde Young People's Enterprise (HYPE) proudly presents Social on the Square, a vibrant community event transforming Hyde Market Square into a hub of creativity, entrepreneurship, and entertainment.

This youth-led initiative taking place on – Saturday, 19 April will showcase young talent, local businesses, and Hyde’s rich cultural landscape, offering networking opportunities, business exposure, and a lively atmosphere that enhances the town centre's economic and social vibrancy.

Event Highlights

Attendees of all ages can look forward to a variety of attractions:

  • Market Stalls: Discover handmade crafts, beauty and wellness products, and innovative enterprises from young entrepreneurs and local businesses.
  • Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances by local musicians, dancers, street performers, and live art demonstrations.
  • Food Vendors: Savor a delicious selection of street food, local bakery treats, global cuisine, and dietary inclusive options.

Special Guest: Dr. Ria Meera

HYPE is excited to welcome Dr. Ria Meera, a celebrated artist and Guinness World Record holder in Bollywood dance. As a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, celebrity choreographer, cultural consultant, and director of Ri Ri’s Dance Academy, Dr. Meera’s presence underscores the event's commitment to celebrating diversity and the arts.
