Our artist led workshops are back! So come and have a go, learn something new and take home something so you can say 'I made it!'
Kicking off the series is an Introduction to Art, Nature and Mindfulness with local artist Anna Connor on Saturday 20th May.
Learn all the skills required to make a piece of artwork inspired by nature. Anna will work with you to ‘draw yourself calm’ welcoming each participant into a mindful practice of slow drawing with patterns inspired by nature. Find out more about this session here.
Anna is one of the guest artists we’ll be featuring throughout 2023 alongside I Made It! Craft Mornings.
All of the craft mornings will take place at Portland Basin Museum, Ashton between 10:30am and 12:30pm. We keep the group sizes small so you can get the most out of the session but this does mean places are limited so you’ll need to book in advance. Tickets are £20 and we will provide you with all of the materials you need. These sessions are taught by experienced artist and craft expert Caroline Coates
