Would you like your artwork to be displayed in an art gallery? Tameside’s Open Art exhibition gives artists and creatives in Tameside the opportunity to showcase their work. It could be a painting, photograph, drawing, sculpture, embroidery, collage or poem – whatever you choose.

The initiative is one of the longest running open art exhibitions in the country and takes place at Astley Cheetham Art Gallery in Stalybridge. It costs just £1 to enter and you can choose to have your artwork available for sale. Artists are able to submit up to two works of art and there are no restrictions on age.

The exhibition opens on 22 June and you will need to bring your work to the gallery between Saturday 8 June and Saturday 15 June during opening hours.
