Accompanying Nandi will be The Peacocks, graceful puppet creations that will roam the square alongside skilled performers from Global Grooves, adding a lively festival-style atmosphere to the day.
For puppet theatre lovers, Frolicked Theatre will present their show Seeing Red, a modern retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood tale, full of red-related surprises, a pinch of feminism and a mini mob of original puppet characters; all crammed into one large, furry suitcase!
The abundance of local eateries and food traders offer plenty of options for delicious tasty treats including market traders like Chai Chai Kitchen, Nat’s Bombay Kitchen and Dina Persian, making it the perfect family outing to enjoy live performances, tasty treats - and the unique community spirit that Saturdays on the Square has fostered throughout 2024.
