Come rain or shine you will leave with your own bit of sunshine.
Let the flowers and leaves of Waterloo Park inspire you to design nature sun catchers or can we challenge you to make the longest leaves mobile? Before it gets dark, leave with your own Summer Lantern.
Wild in the Clough
Date: 4th August
Venue: Hurst Clough, Mottram/Hattersley
Time: 11am –3pm
Join us for outdoor adventures den building, building twig towers, pond dipping and take a woodland walk on the wild side.
Woodland Faces and Mud Monsters
Date: 11th August
Venue: Lymefields Broad Mill, Broadbottom
Time: 11am –3pm
Inspired by folklore crafts, head on a nature journey to make your own woodland faces and mud monsters and enjoy nature based games to play.
Wild Art- Views of Tameside
Date: 18th August

Join us in mark making, smudging and leaf bashing prints. Make your own charcoal sticks over an open fire and create giant bubbles with sticks to glide over Stalybridge.
Bed & Breakfast for Bugs & Birds

Venue: King George V Playing Fields, Ashton-under-Lyne

Come and see the newly installed 5* Bug Hotel. We all need a treat and so do the bugs and birds. Make your own bug hotel from recycled and natural materials and feed the local birds with a tasty handmade treat.
