In partnership with Tameside Council, GM Arts is offering bursaries between £100-£500 for creative practitioners across Tameside to help you develop your practice and grow career in the creative industries. These bursaries are here to support your growth by making it easier to attend workshops, training, networking, or access other professional development opportunities.

Key Dates:

The deadline to apply for a Tameside GM Arts Access Bursary in Round 1 is:

Friday 27th September 2024 at 5pm

You’ll hear back from Tameside Council's Cultural Services on whether we’re able to support your request for a bursary on or before:

October 14th

Please note that it may take up to 30 days for the bursary to be processed and paid.

Some admin bits:

•Beyond a successful application we will not expect any more from you to confirm eligibility.

•Once the project is finished, we will ask you to fill in a short evaluation form for yourself and how the money supported you.

•This will all need to be completed by March 2025.

• Whilst we aim to support as many people as possible with this grant, there is unfortunately a limited amount of funding on offer. In the event of more practitioners applying than there are bursaries to award, we will award on the basis of meeting the eligibility criteria detailed on the application form and clearly demonstrating in your application how you will spend the bursary and how this will support your creative development.
