Santa's Little Helpers are back and ready to get your pupils in the festive spirit! We've created a set of online audio challenges and resources which are freely available and accessible for you to use in whatever way works best for you and your class.
Santa has a video message for you and he needs your help! There is a shortage of elves this year and he has tasked his favourite elves Bauble and Jangle to assist with all your elf training. Classes can take part in as many of the challenges as they want, in any order - it’s up to you. Train hard and hopefully you will be a fully qualified elf by the end of your mission. There is even a certificate template that you can use for each of your fully trained elves.
Feedback from a teacher involved in a previous year was ‘snow’ positive: ‘They are absolutely loving it! I have a morning Nursery class so we listened to the video from Santa on Tuesday to introduce the challenges and then we have been introducing a new challenge everyday listening to the elf clips (which they think are hilarious!!!!) It has been such a lovely idea which I think would be lovely to use every year within EYFS and KS1’.
These online resources are all available for schools and also to the wider community, so families, childcare providers and anyone else can access these: https://www.tameside.gov.uk/santaslittlehelpers
